Jewelry Production & Quality Control Manager

Neeter House of Luxury is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Jewelry Production & Quality Control Manager to oversee the production of our custom jewelry, repairs, luxury brands, and stock work from start to finish.
This position is responsible for ensuring every piece moving through our production process is completed accurately, efficiently, on schedule, and to the high-quality standards our clients expect. The ideal candidate has strong jewelry industry knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with our team, jewelers, and outside vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete production process for custom jewelry, repairs, luxury brand pieces, and stock work from intake through final completion.
- Manage and track multiple jobs simultaneously, ensuring projects remain organized and on schedule.
- Coordinate with bench jewelers, manufacturers, CAD designers, vendors, and other production partners.
- Review job specifications and ensure all work is completed according to the approved scope, specifications, and timeline.
- Conduct thorough quality-control inspections throughout the production process and before work is returned to the client or placed into inventory.
- Inspect finished jewelry for craftsmanship, stone security, settings, symmetry, polish, finishing, construction, and overall quality.
- Verify that completed work matches the original job specifications and client expectations.
- Identify errors, defects, or inconsistencies and coordinate corrections or adjustments as needed.
- Inspect repairs to ensure the original issue has been properly resolved and that the piece has not been compromised during the repair process.
- Verify diamonds and gemstones for correct size, quantity, quality, and specifications when applicable.
- Ensure luxury brand and stock pieces meet company standards before being placed on the sales floor or returned to inventory.
- Communicate clearly with sales associates, luxury advisors, jewelers, and management regarding job status, issues, delays, and completion.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all production and repair jobs.
- Follow up with vendors and production partners to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Identify recurring production or quality issues and help implement processes to prevent them.
- Maintain an organized workflow and ensure completed jobs are properly documented, inspected, and routed to the appropriate next step.
- Assist in developing and maintaining consistent production and quality-control standards across the company.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in fine jewelry production, jewelry repair, manufacturing, quality control, or a related jewelry industry position.
- Strong knowledge of jewelry construction, materials, gemstones, diamonds, and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for quality.
- Ability to recognize craftsmanship issues and identify when work does not meet company standards.
- Availability to work 5 days per week, Tuesday through Saturday.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and excellent follow-through.
- Comfortable working with both internal team members and outside vendors.
- Ability to hold production partners accountable for quality and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a jewelry store, jewelry manufacturing environment, or fine jewelry production setting.
- Bench jewelry or repair experience.
- Experience with custom jewelry production.
- Strong technical and computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use jewelry production software, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and other business applications.
- Experience inspecting completed repairs and fine jewelry.
- Knowledge of stone setting, casting, polishing, finishing, and other jewelry manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with luxury jewelry brands and their quality standards.
- GIA or other jewelry industry education is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule
Salary: Starting at $80,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 5 days per week.
